Barrow Island Community Primary School

Reception have been showing incredible progress with their writing over the last few weeks and we are so proud of them all. They have been writing dictated sentences using no adult support to spell the words, just using their phonics knowledge and even remembering fingers space and capital letters! We have had a go at writing really tricky words on our own such as 'quiet' (we need this as we have got ducklings in our class at the moment). We have also looked at notices in the classroom and had a go at copying those independently too. Our independence and confidence is growing every day
