Year 3 photo dump! Before half term we were super busy in Year 3 and have had two really busy days since we have been back. First we made some AMAZING castles out of recycled materials that were very kindly donated by the parents and staff. We use the material to make battlements, drawbridges, towers and turrets! We also spent some time partaking in some of the winter olympics sports which was a super fun experience. As part of our art topic, we spent time learning how to draw fossils and then we made our faces out of clay. We learnt a lot about clay, how hard it is to model and how delicate it is once it's dried. Finally, we had another super science topic. We learnt all about the bones in our body and learnt a very catchy song to remember them. We were very lucky to have 2 live calls with our scientists, Terri and Gideon.
